How much does it cost to receive DARK MATTER?
As a new subscriber, you can sign up for a one-month free trial and you only pay shipping. After your first month, you'll continue to receive great volumes for just $19.95 a month plus shipping and handling ($4.95 domestic or $7.95 international). If you are unsatisfied, you may cancel at any time and for any reason, but the films you have received up to that point are yours to keep.*
What do I receive each month?
For each monthly volume our acquisitions team selects a mixture of three to five films which are primarily shorts and/or a feature and, from time to time, a documentary. All films are set up with an intro and wrap up similar in style to what you would find on an old Twilight Zone episode and they’re delivered right to your home. There’s nothing ever to return, they’re yours to keep forever.
When will I receive my DVD?
Monthly volumes will be grouped together set to ship around the end of the first full week of each month in an attempt to get everyone their volumes at the same time. This means you should have them by the second week of the month. International shipments normally take a little longer in transit time.
When you sign up you will normally receive your first DVD within 10 to 14 business days domestically. International shipments normally take a little longer in transit time. All DVDs are sent via USPS.
Is there a minimum number of DVDs I have to buy?
No, there is no minimum number of DVDs you must purchase. We’re so sure you’ll love DARK MATTER that we’ll provide you a FREE trial. If you aren’t completely satisfied, you may cancel at any time and for any reason.*
Can I see these films through Netflix or rent them at my local video store?
While you may find many large budget sci-fi related films on Netflix or at your local video store, most of DARK MATTER’s programming has never been seen outside of film festivals, film markets or film labs. You’ll receive exclusive films with compelling stories delving into mysteries, unexplained phenomena, morality tales, conspiracies, spirituality, frontier science, paranormal phenomena and other tales with twists. We track down the best stories from independent filmmakers all over the world ready to share their films with you!
Are the movies suitable for children?
The films DARK MATTER works with are not rated and are intended for an adult audience. However, many of them are suitable for children but it needs to be at the parent’s discretion. Some of our films may contain language or mature content that is not recommended for children.
What’s the best way to watch DARK MATTER?
The best way to experience DARK MATTER is watching it with other people. There are questions about each story. We recommend discussing those questions after you watch each film to enhance your experience. Many of these stories don’t give all the answers with a pretty bow. You might have to watch the stories more than once!
What is the best way to resolve an issue I am having?
Please contact Customer Service as soon as if you have problems with a missing shipment, a defective DVD, or if you have any questions about billing. How do I cancel my membership?
You may contact Customer Service by email or phone with a request to cancel your membership. If you decide you do not want the next month’s volume, be sure to let us know 15 days before it renews to avoid charging of subscription fees for a new term to the credit card on file so we can be sure not to include you on future mailings. I love DARK MATTER but I just lost my job. Can I put my subscription on hold?
You can request to place your membership on hold for 3 months at a time. Please include your full name and address with your request to avoid a delay in processing and send your request 15 days before it renews to put the following month on hold. Please contact info@darkmatterdvds.com
